We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Herzliya, Israel.

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, as well as mentoring and leading other engineers on the team. As the head of security you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable and secured cloud infrastructure
  • Maintain and comply with the highest security standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO).
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
  • Implement and manage container orchestration and serverless systems
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
  • Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and operational issues
  • Mentor and lead other DevOps engineers on the team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring other DevOps engineers
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
  • Expertise in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, security best practices and common communication protocols (HTTP, SFTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent written and verbal English skills
  • Experience with compliance deployment workflows

It will be great if you have:

  • Experience with microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of database administration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML deployment workflows
  • Experience with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda)
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or relevant technologies
  • Experience with healthcare compliances such as HIPAA
  • Expereince with EHR system integrations such as Epic/Cerner/Meditech etc
  • Client facing experience
